Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Operator
This website and the cut.audio application ("Service") are operated by Solid Grid Systems GmbH, Bundesallee 187, 10717 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us", "our").
2. Scope
These Terms govern your use of the cut.audio application and any related services, including purchases made through our payment provider Paddle.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
3. License
Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use cut.audio on your devices. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell the software or any license keys.
4. Software on this Website
The tools on this website run entirely in your browser, which means our software is transferred to your device in order to execute. That transfer is a licence to run it here, and nothing more. The compiled audio engine, its loader and worker scripts, and the interface around them are our copyrighted work, licensed to you solely for personal or commercial use of the tools as served from cut.audio. You may not redistribute, rehost, mirror, or serve these files from another domain, embed or bundle them in another website or application, or modify them in any way. Open-source components included in them remain governed by their own licences, which this clause does not restrict.
5. Free Mode
cut.audio is available to use for free with limited functionality. A license purchase is required to unlock the full feature set.
6. Payments
All payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Paddle handles billing, sales tax, and invoicing on our behalf. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
7. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and license key. One license is valid for one user.
8. Disclaimer
The contents of this website and application have been created with the greatest possible care. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solid Grid Systems GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
12. Language
These Terms were drafted in English. Translations are provided for convenience only; if a translated version differs from the English version, the English version prevails, except where mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.
